<p>Riyad Bank rolled out its Ramadan Caravan again this year as part of its promise to provide support to needy families during the holiest month of the year. Now in its sixth year and operated by volunteers from the Bank, the Ramadan Caravan has become an annual tradition across the Kingdom both for families who need food aid as well as Riyad Bank’s aim to become part of the communities it serves.</p><p>During the course of the holy month, volunteers with the Ramadan Caravan distributed baskets containing a variety of food items commonly used during Ramadan directly to families in need throughout the Kingdom.</p><p>“This project, the Ramadan Caravan, is one of our most important corporate social responsibility initiatives of the year,” said Riyad Bank’s Executive Vice President and General Supervisor, Community Service Programs, Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeah. “As part of our Islamic duty and the Bank’s belief in supporting local communities, we’ve been working tirelessly to ensure that everything is in place for our volunteers to best help needy families throughout the country during Ramadan.”</p><p>“This year’s Ramadan Caravan was even more successful thanks in part to the highest numbers of volunteers we’ve ever had for a community-focused project, and I am grateful to the Bank’s management for instilling among our workforce a culture of volunteering that is helping to drive this and other initiatives which we run throughout the year, such as our relief aid and winter clothing donation drives.”</p>
