<p>In a bold move that is considered the first of its kind in the Saudi banking sector, Riyad Bank has launched its virtual location in the world of Metaverse, which in turn simulates the headquarters of the main administration of the bank in King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), where the new digital branch serves as a nucleus for an entry into the world of augmented and virtual reality due to the future importance of these worlds at the economic and digital levels.</p> <p>This location comes to keep pace with Riyad Bank's digital transformation journey, which is part of the Bank's strategic transformation pillars for 2025. In the same vein, the Bank seeks to harness all its technical and digital potential and capabilities to create an innovative world through which it produces many quality solutions and digital products based on becoming the most innovative bank.</p> <p>This launch is a major contributor to innovating solutions that touch future generations to combat financial fraud and raise awareness about cryptocurrency trading. In addition, through this launch, the Bank will activate all ways to keep abreast of the world's digital acceleration and keep in touch with the aspirations of future youth who represent our bright future upon which our dreams are built.</p> <p>It is worth noting that Metaverse is a post-reality world, in which physical reality is integrated with virtual environments with a connected network of continuous and multi-person interactions, containing worlds of open play and based on visual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), in which users are represented with symbolic images that interact in real-time and with an immersive sense experienced by users, these symbolic images are called avatars.</p>
