Riyad Bank renewed its sponsorship of the agricultural training program for mentally challenged students for the 6th year in a row in Al-Ahsa. This developmental initiative, fully sponsored by Riyad Bank, is aimed at qualifying the mentally challenged students to channel their potentials towards being productive and positive elements in society. Over the span of 5 years, 70 trainees have graduated and 80% of them have been hired in agricultural institutions and different factories in the area.

This developmental initiative, fully sponsored by Riyad Bank, is aimed at qualifying the mentally challenged students to channel their potentials towards being productive and positive elements in society. Over the span of 5 years, 70 trainees have graduated and 80% of them have been hired in agricultural institutions and different factories in the area.</p><p>Mohammad Al-Rabeah, Executive Vice President of Marketing and the General Director of Community Services Programs at Riyad Bank, said that the program’s success over the past 5 years to transform disability into achievement was a strong motive for the bank to continue its sponsorship as well as to strengthen its partnership with Al-Ahsa Disabled Association and Al-Ahsa Irrigation and Drainage Authority. Al-Rabeah pointed out that this initiative has won Princess Seeta bint Abdulaziz Al-Saud Award for excellence in social works.</p>
