Under its Charity Transportation Program, Riyad Bank donated a bus to Al-Wafa Women’s Philanthropic Association, part of the social responsibility initiatives that reflect the bank’s vision and values. The bank has always been committed to empowering charities and humanitarian organizations, in an attempt to help them with their responsibilities attending to the needs of different society members.
<p>Under its Charity Transportation Program, Riyad Bank donated a bus to Al-Wafa Women’s Philanthropic Association, part of the social responsibility initiatives that reflect the bank’s vision and values. The bank has always been committed to empowering charities and humanitarian organizations, in an attempt to help them with their responsibilities attending to the needs of different society members.</p><p>On this occasion, Fatimah Al-Khuraiji, Head of Health Committee at the association, thanked Riyad Bank on the generous support, clarifying that this bus will help the patients and their escorts to commute between the healthcare accommodations and the hospitals. She added that the beneficiaries of the accommodations are patients residing outside Riyadh city and whose transportation needs were catered for by the social services departments at hospitals.</p><p>Maha Al-Moammar, Manager of Community Services Department at Riyad Bank, pointed out that this support represents the effective collaboration between the bank and the charitable organizations, under the bank’s humanitarian commitment to improve the quality of healthcare services for disadvantaged groups across the Kingdom. She emphasized on the importance accorded by the bank to support such patients through the collaboration with Al-Wafa Association, as well as Patients’ Friends Committee in Riyadh, Al-Madinah, Abha and Turaif and other respective charities.</p>
