<p>Princess Abeer AlMandeel, spouse of Qassim Governor, honored Riyad Bank for the 2nd year in a row for sponsoring the Female Excellence Award adopted by Qassim Literary Club.</p><p>Abeer Al El-Shaikh, Senior Vice President and Head of Ladies Banking at Riyad Bank, expressed the Bank’s gratitude and appreciation to her highness for such an honor and said that Riyad Bank takes great pride in its partnership with Qassim Literary Club to witness this award, where the Saudi women are honored for their creativity. She added that the Female Excellence Award is part of Riyad Bank’s community services programs for the Saudi society in general and the Saudi women in particular. Riyad Bank is the first bank to hire a Saudi female and now the percentage of female staff has reached 25% of its total workforce, all are Saudi nationals and one of them is an executive vice president.</p><p>It is worth mentioning that there were four categories where the award amount per category reached SAR 75,000. The first category was dedicated to studies and researches related to women issues, the second was in the field of literature and art, the third was to honor Saudi women in the field of medicine and science, and the last category was specified for translation.</p>
