<p>Due to our belief in the importance financial sector role in supporting activities, programs and plans that promote sustainable development in the Kingdom, Riyad Bank and the Saudi tourism development fund signed an agreement in the presence of the tourism minister, the Saudi Tourism Development Fund Chairman Mr. Ahmed Al-Khatib and Riyad Bank CEO Mr. Tareq Alsadhan and the Saudi Tourism Development Fund CEO Mr. Qusai Al-Fakhri.</p><p>This agreement aims to provide different financial and investment possibilities to support the development of the tourism projects to attract foreign investment and SMEs in the tourism sector as well as contributing to achieving objectives of the national tourism strategy to increase the contribution of the tourism sector GDP from 3% to 10% and create a one million new job opportunities and receive 100 million visitors by 2030.</p><p>Riyad Bank aims to provide all of its abilities to provide financial solutions that will add values to the tourism projects and SMEs within the tourism sector that is considered as one of the important economic sectors within 2030 vision.</p><p>It’s worth the remark that this agreement is working to achieve the global tourism sector objectives in G20 that considers the tourism sector as the main power to support the economic growth by creating job opportunities, achieving sustainable development goals, apply innovative technology solutions in the tourism field, and impact of tourism, on environmental, economic and social sectors.</p>
