<p>Riyad Bank announced its sponsorship of the "Mawhiba" training camp in Switzerland, which aims to qualify the participating students in preparation for the 55th International Chemistry Olympiad "ISEF". The event will be held in Switzerland from 16 to 25 July, with the participation of more than 300 qualified secondary school students, from over seventy countries around the world.</p> <p>The training camp team, sponsored by Riyad Bank in partnership with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity "Mawhiba", includes 14 Saudi top students nominated based on their outstanding performance and creativity in the field of chemistry. Those students will receive intensive training during the 15-day camp period from June 8 to 23, with the aim of selecting 4 students to move to the International Olympiadad in the Chemistry finals, after completing the testing stage according to specific scientific criteria.</p> <p>This camp is one of the most prominent scientific competitions that fall within the Mawhiba International Olympiad program to stimulate the creative energies of general education for students in several scientific disciplines such as math, biology, science, informatics, chemistry, and physics, through which the outstanding candidates in these competitions are nominated to the final competitions of the International Olympiad, which has been held for more than 50 years.</p> <p>Riyad Bank's sponsorship of the summer camp leading up to the International Chemistry Olympiad under the umbrella of the bank's social responsibility programs "Bokra" and its strategic partnership with Mawhiba stems from the bank's commitment to support national talents to build promising and inspiring Saudi generation that will make change towards a better future for the Kingdom and the world.
