<p>Riyad Bank, in partnership with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, announced its sponsorship and support for the "Tawqeer" community initiative to help the elderly and people with disabilities, which concluded its voluntary campaign during the Hajj season 1445 AH, by providing support and assistance services to more than 50,000 pilgrims from the elderly and people with disabilities, under the umbrella of Riyad Bank's social responsibility program "Bokra".</p> <p>The "Tawqeer" initiative, implemented by the "Hajj and Umrah Gift" charity under the umbrella of "Nusuk Enaya" centers and under the supervision of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, included a series of activities, events and services across the various sites of the holy sites through trained volunteer teams. Those teams took the initiative to provide guidance services to pilgrims, as well as facilitate their movement between sites, and organize voyage operations, while the initiative contributed to providing more than 200 wheelbarrows, 100 electric carts and 3 golf carts to serve mobility requirements of elderly pilgrims and people with disabilities.</p> <p>Riyad Bank's partnership for the initiative comes in the context of the bank's keenness to boost the Kingdom's efforts in serving pilgrims and enhancing the Hajj experience in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision, its historical role in caring for the Two Holy Mosques and commitment to organizing Hajj rituals.</p>
