Mr. Abdullah Al-Oraini is the Chief Financial Officer at Riyad Bank since 2019. With over twenty years of extensive experience in both the local and international banking institutions. His professional background encompasses financial management, strategy development and execution, investor relations, capital and asset-liability management, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Al-Oraini has held several senior leadership roles at prominent financial institutions. These include Chief Financial Officer at Alawwal bank (formally known as Saudi Hollandi Bank), Head of Accounting, Asset-Liability Management, and Investor Relations (Deputy CFO) at Saudi British Bank (SABB), and Head of Capital and Liquidity Management at the Saudi National Bank (SNB). His comprehensive experience in these areas has contributed significantly to sustainable organizational growth and stability.
Currently, he serves as a Board Member at Riyad Capital, LIVA Group SAOG (Oman), 1957 Ventures and Efigence (Poland).
He holds a Master’s degree in Management Sciences from the University of Waterloo in Canada and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, reflecting a strong foundation in both technical and managerial disciplines.
