You can view all transaction done with your card through Riyad Online and Riyad Mobile, and you can view and print your card’s monthly statement as well.
Would I be registered immediately for Riyad Online after receiving my credit card?
You have to register for Riyad Online service then your credit card will be listed automatically among your accounts in Riyad Online.
What if I lose my card?
Call 8001242225 immediately to report your card loss whether you are inside or outside the Kingdom.
Can I change my PIN?
Yes, you can change your PIN through Riyad Bank ATMs.
How can I enroll in Hassad Rewards Program?
You will be automatically enrolled in Hassad Rewards Program without the need to register (some cards are excluded).
Are there any risks in using credit cards online?
There are no risks whatsoever, all what you need to do is to activate the card’s 3D Secure feature which is provided free of charge by Riyad Bank to protect your online transactions. In addition, we recommend that you avoid suspicious or unknown websites when purchasing online.
Are there any installment plans to settle my credit cards purchases?

How does the Riyad Bank Contactless Credit Card work?
The Riyad Bank Contactless Credit Card has a chip and a radio frequency antenna embedded. When the Contactless Credit Card is tapped against a terminal enabled for contactless payments, the card transmits payment details wirelessly, eliminating the need to insert the card. Account details are communicated to the reader and then processed through the secure Visa or MasterCard® acceptance network in the same way as had you inserted the card.
How is the Riyad Bank Contactless Credit Card more secure?
The Riyad Bank Contactless Credit Card uses secure encryption technology (the same as CHIP and PIN) so you can confidently use it. Besides, it never has to leave your hand when a payment is made, you will always be in control – giving you added security to the card.
Where can the Riyad Bank Contactless Credit Card be used?
Anywhere with a Contactless payment PoS Machine, the card can be used to tap and pay. If a contactless PoS machine is not available, the Contactless card can still be used for swipe or dip transactions.
How will I know if a retailer accepts contactless payments?
A retailer with a PoS machine showing a contactless symbol displayed on it, is enabled for contactless payments.
How close to a PoS terminal reader do I have to be to ‘waive’ my card?
You need to be at least 4cm away from a PoS terminal to waive for a purchase otherwise you can also directly ‘tap’ on the terminal screen.
How will purchases appear in the monthly statement?
Purchases made in contactless mode will be displayed in the statement just like any other purchase made with a regular card.
How will I know if the transaction is successful?
You will hear a beep/see a light and receive a slip from the merchant, as well as receive an SMS and e-mail on your registered contact details once the transaction is successful.
Is there a limit on the value of goods I can purchase with my contactless card?
You can use your Riyad Bank Contactless Credit Card to pay for items up to the value of SAR 100. For purchases over SAR 100 you will need to enter your PIN.
Is there a transaction limit on my Riyad Bank Contactless Credit Card?
Your maximum spend per transaction is SAR 100. Your Riyad Bank Contactless Credit Card is capped at SAR 300 - which limits any possible loss. Once this limit is reached, you will be asked to enter your PIN and the count is reset to zero till you reach the cap of SAR 300 again.
What if I wave the card twice at the terminal? Will I be charged twice?
Not at all. Should the card be tapped more than once at the terminal, you will only get billed once for the purchase.
What if I am passing by a contactless terminal and a contactless transaction takes place?
The contactless technology works only when the card is waved at a maximum range of 4cm.
Should you be within proximity of a contactless terminal, no accidental transaction can take place as the cashier must first enter the amount on the PoS machine before the card is waived or tapped and payment is processed.
Can my Riyad Bank Contactless Credit Card details be intercepted during a payment?
Contactless only works when a card is close to the card reader. This makes it extremely difficult for any details to be intercepted while in use. Also, each card reader contains security technology based on industry-wide standards.
Is contactless technology secure?
Yes it is. Contactless uses the latest secure encryption technology (same as Chip and PIN) so you can feel confident when using it to pay for items.
Can I ‘Tap’ or ‘Waive’ my contactless credit card to get cash out at an ATM?
No, you cannot ‘Tap’ or ‘Waive’ to get cash out of an ATM using your contactless credit card. You will have to insert your Riyad Bank Contactless Credit Card into an ATM and enter your PIN as you normally do.
What if my Riyad Bank Contactless Credit Card is lost or stolen?
You should call 8001242225 to report your card lost or stolen or visit the nearest Riyad Bank Branch to have the card blocked.
