Eng. Majed Al Ghamdi is the Chief Wholesale Officer at Riyad Bank since 2024. He brings over nineteen years of distinguished executive experience across various facets of the banking sector, including Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, and Risk Management.

Throughout his distinguished career, Eng. Al Ghamdi has served in several pivotal leadership capacities at the Saudi National Bank (SNB). His roles have encompassed Chief Executive Officer of Retail Banking, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Corporate Banking Group as well as Executive Vice President and Head of Enterprise Risk Management.

Beyond his executive contributions and leveraging his extensive financial expertise, Eng. Al Ghamdi has held several board and committee memberships in prominent institutions. He served on the Risk Committee of SNB Capital’s Board of Directors and as a Board Member and Chairman of the Credit and Risk Committees at Turkiye Finans Katılım Bankası.

Academically, Eng. Al Ghamdi holds a Master’s degree in Risk Management from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from King Abdulaziz University. Furthering his professional development, he successfully completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard University and the Executive Development Program (EDP) at the University of Pennsylvania.
