Mr. Fawaz Al-Kassar is the Chief Internal Auditor at Riyad Bank since 2020. With over twenty years of dedicated experience in the banking industry, he worked in internal auditing, risk management, private banking, and corporate banking, which brought a comprehensive and strategic approach to his role.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Al-Kassar has held leadership positions at several prominent local banks. These roles included Chief Internal Auditor and Risk Management Officer at the Arab National Bank (ANB), as well as responsibilities in Private Banking at ANB and Risk Management at Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB). He also gained valuable experience working in corporate banking at Samba Financial Group, which further broadened his expertise.

Currently, he is a member of the Audit Committee at Riyad Capital and also serves as the Chairman of the Audit Committee in   King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Endowment for Giftedness & Creativity.

Mr. Al-Kassar holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Oregon - USA, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from King Saud University. Additionally, he completed a Diploma in Law Practices from Riyadh Chamber of Commerce Institute. His professional credentials include the Certified Internal Auditor - Level I (CIA-Level I) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
