Fawaz Naif Al-Kassar is the Chief Internal Auditor at Riyad Bank since July 2020, and has over two decades of diversified experience in the Banking Sector.

Prior to joining Riyad Bank, MR. Fawaz was the Chief Internal Auditor at ANB and Alawwal Bank, also he held different leadership positions in Risk Management (Alawwal), Private Banking (ANB), and Corporate Banking (SAMBA).

Capitalizing on his long and diversified experience, Fawaz has been leading the internal audit function towards achieving its mission of providing deductive and professional Assurance and Consulting Services.

Fawaz is currently head of Audit Committee Member of Riyad Capital, and King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Endowment for Giftedness & Creativity, also he served as a Chairman and a Member of Audit Committees in several other Private and Semi-Government entities in the past.

Fawaz holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA-Finance) from University of Oregon, Eugene, USA, a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from King Saud University, and Diploma in Law Practices from the Institute of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, In addition to a number of professional certificates, such as Certified Internal Auditor - Level I (CIA-Level I) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and many internal and external courses.
