Mr. Omar AlSaffaf has been serving as the Chief of Retail Banking Officer at Riyad Bank since May 2025. He brings with him over twenty years of leadership experience in the banking sector. His professional journey is distinguished by a proven track record in innovation, operational excellence, and customer-centric transformation across various areas of retail banking.

Before joining Riyad Bank, Mr. AlSaffaf held several senior executive roles in several institutions, most notably as Chief Executive Officer of Dar AlTamleek. In this role, he led a comprehensive institutional transformation focused on digital innovation, product diversification, and strengthening strategic partnerships.

Earlier in his career, Mr. AlSaffaf spent over 13 years at the Saudi National Bank (SNB), where he held multiple leadership positions including heading Head of mortgage loan, Head of Lease Finance, and Head of the Branch Network Division. During his tenure, he spearheaded pioneering initiatives in customer experience, sales force mobilization, and product modernization—significantly reinforcing the bank’s leadership in Saudi Arabia’s retail banking sector.

Mr. AlSaffaf holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from the American University of Beirut. His leadership is distinguished by his ability to align strategic vision with market demands, contributing to sustainable growth and enhanced competitiveness in the banking sector.
