Riyad Bank renews its exclusive sponsorship of the Agricultural Training Program for the seventh year in a row

Riyad Bank launched the seventh edition of the Agricultural Training Program for mentally disabled students in cooperation with Al-Ahsa Disabled Association. The program, with the participation of 25 trainees, lasts for 6 months and includes an array of new programs and activities.

<p>Riyad Bank launched the seventh edition of the Agricultural Training Program for mentally disabled students in cooperation with Al-Ahsa Disabled Association. The program, with the participation of 25 trainees, lasts for 6 months and includes an array of new programs and activities.</p><p>The program trains and prepares participants for agricultural occupations in different institutions and companies. This developmental initiative that is fully sponsored by Riyad Bank qualify the mentally disabled students to channel their potentials towards being positive elements in society.</p><p>Mohammad Al-Rabeah, Executive Vice President of Marketing and the General Director of Community Services Programs at Riyad Bank, stated that Riyad bank’s keenness to sponsor this initiative comes in line with the bank’s vision to support initiatives that cater to the disabled Saudi citizens in order to encourage them and enhance their skills to be productive members in their communities.</p><p>Al-Rabeah also expressed his pride in the success the program made in the past years, of which about 85 trainees benefited and were hired in plants and farms to make use of their experience and skills acquired through participating in the program. He also explained that the current edition of the program includes a number of new domains: landscaping, farming, bee keeping, irrigation systems, date packaging, veterinary program, animal production and so many other special programs.</p><p>It is noteworthy that the initiative won Princess Seeta bint Abdulaziz Al-Saud Award for excellence in social works. This win was celebrated by various public and government sectors.</p>
