On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Governor of Al-Ahsa, launched the "Hasa Link" initiative in partnership between Al-Ahsa Governorate and Riyad Bank, and that was during the Al-Ahsa Forum 2023, which was held under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Governor of the eastern province of Saudi Arabia, and in the presence of a number of Their Excellencies ministers and officials from the government and private sectors.

These initiatives aim to support business enablers in the governorate and link them with each other in initiatives related to beneficiaries, to develop and grow businesses, also contributing to achieving 33 objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and 14 economic and social development pillars and 10 global indicators for the Kingdom. Hassa Link initiatives consist of 4 initiatives: Rural Link , Logistics Link, Industrial Link and Sustainability Link, which will be worked on and developed through working forces consisting of businessmen and women in the province, with a support group of its members from government organizations such as ministries, Al-Ahsa Chamber and King Faisal University, moreover, these initiatives are distinguished by its compatibility with several strategies, developing businesses and rural lodges, raising the capabilities of logistics services, localizing industry, empowering the use of renewable energy, digital and human development, and improving local content.

His Highness assured that these initiatives were designed with clear methodology that relies on integration between the organizations, through a cooperative partnership between the governorate, government organizations and Riyad Bank, and substantial new dimension was added to crystallize the maximum factors of integration, which is the participation of businessmen and women from the governorate, so that the outputs have a societal dimension We all participate in building and adopting it, and then work on implementing it together.

His Highness added that Hassa Link is one of the initiatives that the governorate is working to launch, as it was developed to enhance the contribution of Al-Ahsa Governorate to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, the Kingdom's global indicators, and the Kingdom's economic and social objectives, also this is considered among the goals pursued by several programs, initiatives and projects launched by His Royal Highness. Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, may God protect him, which includes ease of business, attracting foreign and local investments, promoting local content and localizing industry.

In other side, CEO of Riyad Bank, Mr. Tariq bin Abdurrahman Al-Sadhan, expressed Riyad Bank's pride in launching these initiatives and being supportive partner for their implementation with Al-Ahsa Governorate, and that the participation of the governorate's businessmen and women in the initiatives added qualitative distinction to them, in addition, this indicates the keenness of His Royal Highness Prince Saud Bin Talal Bin Badr, Governor of Al-Ahsa, for providing success factors during implementation, also he pointed that Riyad Bank is committed to harnessing all its capabilities in order to support the economic transformation programs that the Kingdom is witnessing on more than one level, based on the pioneering developmental role of the bank, and the initiatives aim to benefit more than 1,000 establishments in the province in several sectors such as agriculture, tourism, culture, industry, logistics, energy and the environment, it will be concerned with the development of rural businesses and lodges, culture, rural sports, the growth of rural industries, the production of hospitality and cultural products, and the development of the work of craft and productive families, also the initiatives will take into account the logistics provided for these activities, the use of renewable energy, recycling, and the human and digital development of business establishments.
