Riyad Bank CEO Tariq bin Abdulrahman Al-Sadhan has been ranked on Forbes' list of 100 Most Powerful CEOs in the Middle East for 2021.

<p>Riyad Bank CEO Tariq bin Abdulrahman Al-Sadhan has been ranked on Forbes' list of 100 Most Powerful CEOs in the Middle East for 2021.</p><p>Al Sadhan was chosen based on the size of the growth achieved by Riyad Bank during the past year, the size of revenues, assets, number of employees, and the bank's impact on the banking sector, society and the country. In addition to his accomplishments as CEO during the past year, his current position experience, general experience, and personal accomplishments including chairmanship / board membership and social initiatives.</p><p>It is worth noting that Al-Sadhan began his career in KPMG Saudi Arabia, where he spent 18 years, during which he rose in many positions until he became one of the youngest partners in the history of KPMG, and during the last five years of his work in the company he held the position CEO / Managing Partner and Chairman of the Company's Advisory Committee.</p><p>Prior to joining Riyad Bank, he held several governmental positions, including Adviser to the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), General Director in charge of the General Authority for Zakat and Income (GAZT), and Deputy Governor of Supervision at the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia.</p><p>Al-Sadhan has been a member of several boards, organizations and committees during his career. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of the World Economic Forum 2020 for the Middle East and North Africa. He is also a fellow of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants. Al-Sadhan also holds an Executive MBA from Ecole National des Ponts et Chaussées in France, and has obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from King Saud University.</p>
